Possession of a baton and a kitchen knife in a public place, namely Mill End, on August 4.

Fined £200.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.

Emma Baker: 31, of Dereswood Avenue, Hatfield.

Committed fraud in that she dishonestly retrieved a receipt that was dated the previous day and entered a store, picking up two bottles of wine intending to get a refund (£9.98).

The offence happened at a Co-op store in Hertford on May 5.

In Ware on May 10, Baker selected items from a shelf to claim a refund from a receipt from another store for items not bought, intending to make a gain of £23.75.

Ordered to pay compensation to cover the costs of money gained.

Baker must also pay victim services £20.

She was discharged conditionally for 12 months.

Justin Brant: 42, of Chase Avenue, Potters Bar.

Stole two bottles of milkshake, worth £5, and petrol worth £30.01 from the BP garage in South Mimms on July 21.

Stole £58.60 worth of petrol on August 2. Stole clohing from Marks and Spencer at St Albans on August 4.

Drove a Nissan Micra in South Mumms while disqualified from driving on August 2.

Jailed for 12 weeks.

Ordered to pay compensation to cover the cost of the stolen goods.

Tunde Raimi: 22, of Haseldine Meadows, Hatfield.

Without reasonable excuse, attended an address which he was banned from by a non-molestation order between August 22 to August 28.

On August 26, attended the same address again.

Fined £385.

Ordered to fund victim services £38 and £85 court costs.

Ciaran O’Reilly: 33, of Falcon Close, Hatfield.

Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Stevenage on December 15.

Fined £650.

Ordered to pay victim services £65 and £85 court costs.

Martin Joslin: 67, of Hyde Valley, WGC.

Possession of cocaine in WGC on August 17.

Failed to turn up at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on September 18.

Fined £92 for the drug offence and £50 for not going to court.

Joslin was also ordered to

pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.

Carl Armstrong: 30, of Kerr Close, Knebworth.

Drove a Mercedes on the M25 at Enfield at 70mph when the limit was 60mph on March 15.

Fined £123.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and costs of £85.

Three penalty points issued.

Oliver Cornish: 21, of Travellers Lane, Hatfield.

Used a Daewoo on Comet Way, Hatfield, when there was no test certificate in place for the vehicle on March 2.

Fined £220.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and costs of £85.

Gregory Howell: 45, of Kingsmead, Cuffley.

Drove a Mini on the M25 at Watford on January 17 while using a hand-held phone.

Fined £78.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.

Six penalty points issued.
