Welwyn Garden City firefighters stood on parade to pay their respects to an ex-Service Chaplain during his funeral this afternoon.

Station Commander Sean Comerford tweeted: “The duty crew, joined by LiFE course students and instructors, pay their dutiful respects to ex DCO and Service Chaplain, John Potipher, as his funeral cortège passes.”

Led by a vintage fire engine it paused momentarily outside Welwyn Garden City fire station.
