Volunteers needed for Welwyn Garden City litter pick

THE first WGC clean-up of 2011 will take place tomorrow (Saturday), and volunteers can pitch in to help.

The blitz on litter is organised regularly by WGC resident Martin Waldock, a voluntary warden for Welwyn Hatfield Council.

Meet at the King George V Playing Fields car park, next to The Beehive pub, at 9am.

Volunteers are advised to wear old clothes and boots.

Litter pickers and bags will be provided.
