Police have appealed for information after vandals targeted cars in two linked incidents.

Between 1pm on Wednesday, June 13 and 10am the following day, they damaged a Land Rover Discovery that was parked in Melbourne Court.

A police spokeswoman said they used a sharp implement to mark the vehicle from the passenger door to the rear door and bumper.

It is being linked to another vandal attack between 7pm the same evening and 5.30pm the following day, which involved the driver’s side door and rear panel of a Volvo V70 being scratched in Attimore Road.

A police spokeswoman urged anyone with information to contact officers via non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/7543/18.
