ARE you off to see the Wizard? Then follow the Yellow Brick Road to Campus West in Welwyn Garden City later this week.

A professional production of The Wizard Of Oz, on at the Hawthorne Theatre from Thursday to Saturday, has some extra special Munchkins.

Bruce James Productions have auditioned local talent, aged between eight to 18, to play Munchkins, Emerald City Citizens and dancers to transport Dorothy to Oz in the Tornado Ballet.

Together with professional actors playing Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, they will be attempting to defeat the plans of the Wicked Witch of The West in the famous stage musical.

The local actors and dancers will be an important part of this panto-style adventure, which promises to be a fantastic Easter treat for the whole family.

So pop on your ruby slippers and prepare to dance your way down the Yellow Brick Road at the Hawthorne Theatre this Easter!

Bruce James Productions presents The Wizard of Oz at the Hawthorne Theatre from Thursday to Saturday at 1pm and 4pm.

Tickets cost £12, £8 concessions.
