Police have recovered a “suspicious” car after it caught fire in Potters Bar.

The fire service was called at around 2pm yesterday (Sunday) following reports of a car well alight in Oakmere Avenue.

One Potters Bar crew was sent and extinguished the blaze, which was listed as accidental, within half an hour.
