The Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge team ‘Stanborough Saints’ from Stanborough School brought people together at The Don in WGC to raise cash for the confidential free phone number for those affected by domestic violence or abuse on February 6.

The evening was introduced by Stanborough Saints member and project manager for the event, Patsy Smith.

Entertaining quiz masters were Harry Evans, Nathan Curtis and Tobey Foskett, who before you knew it had participants’ eyes down and thinking caps on.

After the first two rounds of sports and places, dinner was served.

Following this, were rounds of music and Disney.

A Stanborough Saints spokesman said: “This led nicely onto our very generous raffle whilst the quiz markers Matthew Harrington, Joshua Crowe, Megan Reynolds, Scott Boyd were kept busy adding up the team scores.

“Then came the final two rounds, movies and general knowledge.

“All in all it was a really fun evening, audience participation and enthusiasm was fantastic and made it much more fun.
