Shopper dies after collapsing in Tesco

AN elderly man died in hospital after collapsing in a supermarket.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Tesco in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, just after 9am last Tuesday, after reports the man, in his 70s, had been taken ill.
A police spokeswoman said the man was taken to Barnet Hospital, where he died.
The spokeswoman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been passed to the coroner.”
