SHOCKED residents in Welwyn awoke to news of a death in their street on Saturday.
A woman in her 40s had died suddenly at her home in Windsor Road.
Police dogs and forensics officers were seen at the deceased woman’s property, after being called by the ambulance service, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman said: “Police attended the property and at this stage, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
“The matter will be passed to the coroner.”
