Homeless dogs Sherbert and Pablo, and Brandy the cat are this week’s trio of pets looking for new owners in our regular RSPCA Southridge appeal.

Sherbert is a three-year old female Chihuahua who is looking for a home with Pablo.

Pablo is a lovely one-year-old male Jack Russell terrier crossbreed.

They find themselves at RSPCA Southridge near Potters Bar through no fault of their own.

A spokeswoman for the animal centre in Packhorse Lane, Ridge, said: “These two haven’t had the best start in life and really deserve a new loving, forever home.”

Sherbert is a very friendly girl who enjoys a fuss and a cuddle.

Pablo is a sweet, friendly boy, who can be a little nervous at times.

The RSPCA spokeswoman said: “He loves to zoom around the activity compound, he is very fast!”

She added: “This delightful pair will need an active home with children over 16 years.

“They will need someone to be home for most of the day and a secure garden for them to play and enjoy.”

They will also benefit from further training.

Beautiful Brandy is a five-year-old female domestic shorthair crossbreed.

The Southridge spokeswoman said: “Brandy’s owner very sadly died and she is now looking for a new loving, forever home.

“Brandy is a lovely girl, who is finding life in the cattery stressful.

“She has had a sheltered life up until now, so we are looking for a quiet, calm adult home for her.”

She will need patient owners who will give her time to settle.

Brandy needs access to the outside and could live with a friendly dog.

• If you are interested in adopting any of the animals call Southridge on 0300 123 0704, email southridge@rspca.org.uk or visit the centre in Packhorse Lane, Ridge.

RSPCA Southridge is open from 11am to 4.15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 1pm to 4.15pm on Sundays.
