Pupils from a Welwyn Garden City primary school visited Sainsbury’s for a Red Nose Day hunt.

Eleven Swallow Dell youngsters from Years 3, 4 and 5 were tasked with finding hidden noses around the supermarket with the help of special clues.

The event – organised by the Sainsbury’s – was designed to raise awareness of its fundraising for Comic Relief, and ended with all pupils receiving Easter eggs.

Year 4 teacher Miss Tydeman said: “It was really enjoyable, the pupils all had a great time.

“It’s all for a very worthy cause and it raised the pupils’ awareness of the charity, even if they weren’t raising money they understood a bit more about it.”
