Nearly 600 homes without power in Potters Bar

UK Power Networks is warning of two power cuts in Potters Bar.

UK Power Networks is dealing with a power cut in the Elmfield Road area and another in the Cranborne Road area.

With regards to Cranborne Road, UK Power Networks states: “Our engineers are working hard to fix it as quickly as possible.

“We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused you.

“We’ve had to turn off power in your area so our engineers can safely carry out emergency repairs to the network.”

It is thought that 567 homes are affected in this area.

In the Elmfield Road area just six properties are thought to be affected.

UK Power Networks states: “A fault has occurred on an underground electricity cable affecting the local area.

“We may have to dig up the road to carry out repairs.”
