Potters Bar rail inquest: jury returns

THE jury in the Potters Bar rail crash inquest has returned this afternoon (Friday).
It has blamed faulty points on the railway as the cause of the crash which killed seven people on May 10, 2002.
Among them was South Mimms grandmother Agnes Quinlivan who was killed by falling debris under the railway bridge on Darkes Lane.
The jury was given a statement containing 18 questions that needed answering. Jury members were relieved of two questions (numbers six and seven) by the coroner, Judge Findlay Baker, but returned answers to the other 16.
