Sainsbury’s in Potters Bar has started its fundraising for Red Nose Day later this month.

Staff at the supermarket will hold numerous fundraising events – such as fancy dress days, cake sales and tombolas.

There will also be bag packing, a quiz night and one member of staff shaving his head.

Store manager Karen Staples said: “Our colleagues love getting involved with Red Nose Day fundraising and we’re all really proud to support such a great cause.

“There are some brilliant activities planned this year and we look forward to inviting customers to join in with the fun.”

Special merchandise will also be available, including wristbands, badges, mugs and reusable bags.
