If you don’t know what to do with your Christmas Cards, a Potters Bar supermarket is providing a recycling service.

Sainsbury’s Potters Bar store is providing a Christmas card recycling service to support the Forest Stewardship Council UK, which works to protect the world’s forests.

Until January 8, customers can recycle their cards via the in store collection point which is located at the front of the shop.

Online customers can also have their cards collected from their homes when they receive their order.

Sainsbury’s will recycle all collected cards and make a donation to FSC UK to support its work to promote responsible management of the world’s forests.

Potters Bar store manager Karen Staples said: “We’ve always had a brilliant response from customers and we hope to collect even more cards this year.

“The recycling initiative is a great way to support the invaluable work of the FSC and help customers to tackle Christmas waste and put it to positive use.”
