Potters Bar FC has officially unveiled its new £200k facilities.

The new clubhouse and changing rooms, officially opened earlier this week, were built thanks to a Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) cash boost, as well as Sport England and member donations.

The grants have enabled newly-promoted Potters Bar FC to provide two modern team changing rooms, two changing rooms for match officials, a first aid room and kitchen area.

Its clubhouse has also been extended and remodelled.

Potters Bar FC chairman Peter Waller said they are indebted to the FSIF, Premier League and Sport England for having the vision to work together on creating a “legacy” for the club.

“Every project requires its own contribution and our gratitude is also to those locally who so kindly donated to the fund, including Potters Bar borough and county councillors,” he added.
