FORENSIC police officers are currently on the scene after the death of a man at a residential house in Hatfield.
It is believed the property in Cunningham Avenue is occupied by students from the University of Hertfordshire.
A body has been removed from the home and taken away in a private ambulance.
Police at the scene would only confirm a man had died.
WHT reporter Ross Logan currently at the scene said: “It is very quiet in the street itself, neighbours are looking out of their window, curious to know what is going on.
“One neighbour told me he arrived this morning to his flat and saw a man in forensic overalls walking onto the property.
“He said he had met the occupants once before and believed them to be foreign students.”
Next-door neighbour Amit Walia, a 20-year-old law student, said: “I was awake last night and heard shouting and an argument from next door.
“Their kitchen is right next door to my bedroom.
“I heard an argument, a door slam and a car horn at about the same time, between 3am and 5am.”
