A man entered the Sella Supermarket in Parkhouse Court and became verbally abusive towards the victim – a man aged in his 50s – before leaving the store, a police spokeswoman said.

Following the incident at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, January 23, police today (Thursday, March 8) released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

The spokeswoman asked anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact PC Stephen Carter by emailing stephen.carter@herts.pnn.police.uk, or calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/18/356.
