This burglary is being linked with two attempted burglaries in Woodhall Lane on the same night.

Between 9.30pm and 10pm, offenders damaged the front door lock of a property before fleeing.

Between 8.10pm and 8.15pm, an offender approached the front window of a property and attempted to force open a window.

A police spokesman said: “The offender was disturbed and made off.

“He is described as being a white man, between 5ft 9in and 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build and wearing a dark zip up hooded top, light coloured trousers and trainers.”
