Police were called to reports of suspicious activity in Potters Bar last night.

A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 10.45pm yesterday (Friday) to Marshe Close, Potters Bar, to reports of suspicious activity.

“It was initially reported that two men with hoods up and masks covering their faces were knocking on doors and hiding.

“When confronted by a resident they ran away.

“Officers attended and it was established that this was likely to be antisocial behaviour by youths.”

It is understood that no threats were made and a bottle was dropped on some stairs by one of the youths.
