Police are currently carrying out a search in Welwyn Garden City following thefts from a shop.

Police were called at 2.55pm today to reports of thefts from Carphone Warehouse in the Howard Centre.

Officers received a report that four people went into the store and stole a number of items.

A police spokeswoman: “Officers are currently conducting a thorough search of the area for people matching the offenders’ descriptions.”
