Two women had a milkshake thrown at them in Welwyn Garden City


Police are hunting a milkshake-throwing man after one was lobbed at two women from a car in Welwyn Garden City.

At around 6pm on Monday, March 27, the women were walking along Cole Green Lane towards Woodhall Shops, near to the Chieftain pub, when the drink was thrown at them from a passing car.

The vehicle is described as a black BMW 116, and the milkshake was thrown out of the window by the front seat passenger, who is believed to have been a man.

PC Gemma Walsh-Beasley said: “Luckily the victims were able to move out of the way of the milkshake and were uninjured.

“I am appealing for anyone who saw a vehicle matching the description in the area around the time stated, or believes they know who is responsible.”

Police can be contacted via 101, quoting crime reference B1/17/1300.
