Police received reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the A1(M) at Welwyn this morning.

Police were called at 8.06am to Junction 6 (Welwyn) of the A1(M) on the northbound carriageway.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers did attend after being called to reports of a multiple vehicle collision.

“On arrival just one vehicle was still at the scene - a black BMW X3 – and recovery was in hand.”
