Police were called to the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City this afternoon when a disagreement got out of hand.

At 3.18pm today (December 20) it was reported that two men and two security guards had become involved in a verbal altercation in the shopping centre.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and spoke to all parties involved, giving the words of advice.

“It was established that no crime had been reported and the officers left the scene after ensuring all was in order.”
