Police have been called to Brookmans Park after reports that a horse was loose along Great North Road.

A police spokeswoman said officers were called at 12.33pm today (Monday, September 10) after the brown and white horse was spotted standing near bushes close to Uplands Drive.

Officers have secured it and are trying to locate the owner. Anyone with information can contact police via non-emergency number 101.
