Teenager suffers broken nose and eye socket in Potters Bar assault

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for a CT scan after allegedly being set upon by a group of around four boys.

Police are investigating following a report of an assault in Darkes Lane at 6.25pm on Thursday, August 23.

The victim was waiting at a bus stop near Nationwide when he was approached by the group.

They allegedly assaulted him, causing him to fall to the floor, before fleeing the scene.

As well as the injuries to his face, the man also had bruising to his face and body.

A 16-year-old boy from Hatfield and two 16-year-old boys from Potters Bar have been arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm in connection with this incident.

They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
