Police investigating a sexual assault on a teen in Welwyn Garden City are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man, who may have information that could help the investigation.

At around 1.30am on Sunday, July 15, the victim was approached by a man outside the Howard Centre.

He kissed her without consent and touched her inappropriately.

The girl ran away with her friend to the Esso Petrol Station.

“Anyone who recognises him can contact me by emailing linda.bunton@herts.pnn.police.uk, calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/18142/18 or report details online at www.herts.police.uk/Report.
