This week’s winner of Pet of the Week is a Welwyn Garden City cat who thinks she is Santa Claws!

Meet Twinkle, a five-year-old kitty who lives with her owners Jerry and Poppy Larke.

The Norwegian Forest feline, who was born on Valentine’s Day, was a gift from Poppy to Jerry for his birthday.

Jerry describes Twinkle as “the best present ever” and the pair are inseparable – wherever Jerry goes, Twinkle follows.

At the end of the day, they head up to bed together to sleep.

Twinkle is a clever little kitty and will give you her paw if you ask her nicely, especially if you have a cat treat to hand.

If you have an adorable furry friend or a hilarious picture of your pet, send photos and a description to petoftheweek@

Please include where you live in Welwyn Hatfield or Potters Bar.

The Welwyn Hatfield Times is also running a pet feature for Christmas so if you have a picture of your pet getting festive please send it to the above email.
