This week’s Pet of the Week is a “cheeky” little fella who has been looking after his human mum who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Meet 10-month-old miniature dachshund Bruno, who lives in Welwyn with his owner, aka mum Coral Ballard.

According to Coral, this cheeky little fella is always up to no good.

If he’s not having a nibble at his brand new bed he’s robbing sandwiches off nanny’s plate.

Carol was sadly recently diagnosed with cancer but little Bruno has been giving her extra kisses and cuddles.

She said: “He’s been busy looking after me and always keeping me entertained with playing fetch.”

The picture above is Bruno’s ‘what about me’ pose as he was wanting attention because he was blocked out of the dining room whilst it was being painted.

If you have an adorable furry or scaly friend or a hilarious picture of your pet, send photos and a description to petoftheweek@ whtimes.co.uk

Please include where you live in Welwyn Hatfield or Potters Bar and your phone number so we can let you know if your pet is crowned.
