Onslow St Audrey’s School in Hatfield are “particularly” excited to have one pupil going to Oxford University.

Onslow St Audrey’s pupils have once again achieved some fantastic Sixth Form exam results, which are “testament to the hard work and commitment” of its pupils.

A spokesperson said: “This year we are particularly excited to have one student going to Oxford University, and a number of others who will be embarking on courses at a number of Russell Group institutions.”

Acting headteacher, Robert Bird said: “This year’s results are very pleasing.

“We have seen improvements in outcomes for A-level students and some excellent vocational results, all of which demonstrate the positive progress that the school is making.

“We have students heading to Oxbridge and to prestigious universities in both the UK and the USA, as well as fantastic apprenticeship and employment positions.

“It has been wonderful to see their celebrations today, and we are so proud of what they have accomplished.”

Some of its highest-achieving pupils this year are:

• Robyn Harvey-Smith (A*, A, A) Going on to study Law at Oxford University.

• Carlos Camacho (A*, A*, A, A) Going on to study Theoretical Physics at Birmingham University.

• David Oraegbuna (A*, A*, A, B) Going on to study Physics with Theoretical Physics at Manchester University or Bristol University.

• Chloe Moore (A*, Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction) Going on to study Sport & Exercise Science at Lincoln University.
