Mysterious field fire in Potters Bar

A BLAZE took hold in a field in Potters Bar on Sunday.
Firefighters rushed to a stubble field at the rear of the old Sunny Bank Primary School, in Field View Road, at around 4pm.
They used one hose reel and beaters to extinguish the flames.
A fire service spokeswoman described the cause of the blaze as “doubtful”.
