A MODEL could be jetting off to Florida to represent the country in a beauty competition.

Winner of Miss Welwyn Curve 2012, Faye Sutton has already made the finals of Miss English Beauty 2012 and Miss Spirit of True Beauty 2012 and she is also due to appear as a finalist for Miss Universe UK 2012.

Now the WGC resident’s latest mission is to win Miss Galaxy United Kingdom after she made the finals through being awarded the honour of Miss Galaxy Hertfordshire.

If she’s successful in the finals in Lancashire on March 4, she will head out to USA for the Galaxy International Pageant.

Faye, 22, who quit running theatre, singing and dance production group IDareYouProductions to work as a full-time model, told the Welwyn Hatfield Times it had been an exciting year.

She said: “After deciding to pursue modelling/beauty pageants I’ve already achieved so much, from music videos and appearing as an extra, to working with some of the UK’s biggest photographers.

“I will also get to help with the Miss Hertfordshire finals this year which is so exciting.”

Faye said that despite losing around two-and-a-half stone through hard work at the gym, she is still classed as a plus size model.

She added: “You can never tell exactly how busy or how much work you’re going to have, as the work comes and goes, but so far I’ve been really busy and I have been getting quite a lot of work thanks to the agency, Stomp Model, that took me on.”
