Officers that found a dog wandering around Hatfield all alone are now trying to find his human parents.

Officers have taken the pooch to the station in Hatfield after then found him wandering around in the Homestead area by himself.

The dog is a well kept golden brown spaniel and is male.

If this is your dog officers ask that you contact Hatfield Police Station.

Proof of ownership will be required.
