Mill Green Mill and Museum’s Classic Car and Vintage Day attracted more than 600 visitors yesterday.

Welwyn Hatfield borough councillor Tony Kingsbury, executive member for policy and culture, said: “I was pleased to see a brilliant turnout on Sunday for one of the highlights in Mill Green’s calendar.

“With everything from dancing and singing to classic cars and cream teas, there really was something for everyone.

“I’d like to thank our friends at the mill and museum for organising such a varied and exciting event, and hope that people continue to visit our excellent cultural sites such as the Mill and Museum and Welwyn Roman Baths throughout the summer period.”

The museum will be running a series of children’s water themed activities and there will also be fun scientific demonstrations.
