Police are appealing for information after a public order incident in Welwyn Garden City.

It happened in Haldens at around 4.30pm on Sunday, December 10.

A police spokeswoman said: “The victim, a woman in her 20s, was sitting in her stationary car when the offender, a man, approached the vehicle and banged on the windows before attempting to open the car door.

“The offender, who is known to the victim, made off from the scene after the victim’s partner arrived.

“The victim was not injured during the incident.”
