The moment armed police stormed a bungalow in Hatfield.


A man is currently in custody after a woman was allegedly threatened by someone who had a knife.

A Herts Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 4.30pm today to reports of an incident involving a man and a woman in Roe Green Close in Hatfield.

“The man threatened the woman before leaving the scene.

“It is believed he had a knife.”

No-one was injured in the incident.

Residents reported seeing armed police at the scene.

The spokesman also confirmed that a police dog was used.

•A 29-year-old man has been arrested and has been taken into custody for questioning.
