M25 crash between Potters Bar and Waltham Cross junctions

Highways England is warning of 60-minute delays following a crash this afternoon on the M25.

One lane of four is currently closed on the anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 25 for Waltham Cross and Junction 24 for Potters Bar.

Highways England states that there are hour-long delays and predicts the traffic conditions will have returned to normal by 6.45pm.

A Herts Police spokeswoman said: “Police received a call at 3.50pm today to reports of a collision on the M25.

“Two vehicles were involved – a red Ford Fiesta and a lorry.

“There were no reported injuries.

“The Highways Agency attended this as police were not required.”
