Police were called to a crash on the M25 involving a car and lorry.

A Herts Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 7.57pm yesterday (Thursday, December 28) to reports of a damage-only road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and 25 for Waltham Cross.

“It was determined that the location fell within the Met’s boundary so the call was passed to them.”

At the time of the incident, Highways England reported that delays were building but two lanes had remained open.
