Leak at Welwyn Garden City petrol station

FUEL leaking from a van at a supermarket’s petrol station has seen the fire service and police called out.
Part of Morrisons’ car park, in Welwyn Garden City, was closed by police after the leak from a white Citroen Berlingo at 1.45pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
A spokeswoman for the force said an evacuation was not necessary, but they were helping the fire service out with the traffic.
Some customers were kept inside the supermarket to begin with, though.
Fire crews from WGC, which are still on the scene at the Black Fan Road store, used one covering jet to stop any potential fire.
