Can you provide these pets at RSPCA Southridge with new homes?
Flo the cat, Cleo the dog and Eric the ferret are this week’s trio of pets at RSPCA Southridge looking for new owners in the Welwyn Hatfield Times Potters Bar Edition’s Find Me A Home appeal.
• Sweet Flo is a one-year-old domestic shorthair.
She finds herself at Southridge as she was part of a multi-cat household, and her owner could no longer look after them.
A spokeswoman for the RSPCA centre in Packhorse Lane said: “Flo was very shy on arrival but is now beginning to come out of her shell.
“Once she trusts you she enjoys being stroked.
“We are looking for an understanding adult home, who will allow her time to settle.”
Flo needs access to the outside, and could live with another cat but not dogs.
• Cute Cleo is an eight-year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who was signed over to the RSPCA by her owner.
The Southridge spokeswoman said: “She is a sweet girl who is finding kennel life stressful.
“We have little information on Cleo’s history so we are getting to know her every day.
“She is a friendly girl who enjoys a fuss and a cuddle.
“We think she would benefit from an active, adult home where she will get the love that she deserves.
“Cleo will need some further training.”
• Cheeky Eric is a male ferret who is around two to three years old.
He was originally found as a stray.
“Eric is a sweet boy who can be a little nippy at times,” said the RSPCA spokeswoman.
He would love a new home with other ferrets as they are social creatures and a large cage full of toys for him to play with and explore.
