Fourth person charged over fatal Welwyn Garden City stabbing

A fourth person has now been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing in Ludwick Way, Welwyn Garden City.

John Taycur, 18, of Longmore Gardens, Welwyn Garden City, is the fourth person to be charged.

Taycur has been charged with joint enterprise murder.

He has been remanded and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court for a pre-trial preparation hearing on Friday, February 16.

Jamil Sarki, 23, from London died on Thursday, January 18, after he was stabbed in Ludwick Way.

Jamil leaves behind his mother and her partner, his father and his younger sister.

A graduate of De Montfort University in Leicester, Jamil achieved a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering.
