Welwyn Garden City murder investigation: Victim named

The 23-year-old who was fatally stabbed in Welwyn Garden City has been identified.

The victim of the incident that happened in Ludwick Way has been named as Jamil Mohammed Sarki in court documents.

Jamil suffered stab wounds on Thursday, January 18, and was declared dead at the scene after paramedics tried to save his life.

The documents were released ahead of the appearance of three men charged with his killing.

• Vinnie Bradshaw, 19, of Bassingburn Walk in Welwyn Garden City, charged with murder.

• Keith Coventry, 34, of Bassingburn Walk in Welwyn Garden City, charged with murder.

• Daniel Frazer-Traille, 29, of Bassingburn Walk, is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court today charged with joint enterprise murder.

• An 18-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail until Monday, February 12.
