Health food store Holland & Barrett has opened a new branch in Potters Bar offering specialist food, ethical beauty products and sports nutrition.

The shop opened its doors at Albany Gate in Darkes Lane on Wednesday, January 24. As part of the launch, customers could pick out a range of aromatherapy diffusers and candles from a ‘scent station’ and choose a selection of snacks to take home from a ‘pick n mix’ fruit and nut station.

The branch opening has created five new jobs, including a store manager, two supervisors and two store associates.

Potters Bar store manager Lisa Vickers, said: “This is an exciting time for Potters Bar and we look forward to welcoming existing and new customers in store to try out the latest products and concepts in the health food, beauty and sports categories.”

The store also stocks food for vegetarians, vegans and people with coeliac disease.
