HEATED volcanic basalt stones are being used to ease away muscle tension, stress and anxiety, as part of a new massage treatment at an all-in-one lifestyle centre, which has had a bit of a makeover.

Set up by Nicola Ruth, the one hour sessions are designed to create a “deeply relaxing” state.

And to mark her first month using the new treatment, Nicola, who is part of chain Bodytalk Therapies, is offering reduced treatments at the Gosling Sports Park-based hub.

The Hertford woman, who has six years masseuse experience, said: “Previously I only offered pregnancy massages and sports massages, so this is something different for me and the centre.

“It’s much more relaxing and gentle, and so far it has gone down really well.”

Up to Sunday, August 8, Nicola will be offering one hour treatments for £27.00 (normal price £45.00).
