THE Hatfield Tunnel will be closed to traffic for the next two nights.
Both the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A1(M) will be shut between 11pm tonight (Friday) and 5am tomorrow and then again between 11pm tomorrow and 5am on Sunday for maintenance work.
Clearly signed diversions will be in place.
Road users travelling southbound will be taken off the A1(M) at junction 4 and diverted along the A1001, and then back on the A1(M) at junction 2.
Meanwhile, motorists travelling northbound will be taken off the A1(M) at junction 3 and diverted along the A1001 and then back on the A1(M) at junction 4.
