Teenager fined for having heroin in Hatfield

A teenager has been fined after being caught with wraps of heroin in Hatfield.

Jean Diabate was caught with 10 wraps of heroin in Hatfield on September 25.

He admitted the offence when he appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on October 26.

The 19-year-old, of Dawes Street, London, was fined £200.

He was ordered to pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.

The drugs were forfeited under the Misuse of Drugs Act to be destroyed.

In total Diabate must pay £315.

He will pay this at a rate of £100 per month.
