Police arrested five suspects following reports that men were trying to break into vans in Welham Green.

Police dog Oz was used in the operation to track down suspects.

A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 23.31pm on Monday, October 16, to reports of five men suspected to be trying to break into vans on Huggins Lane, Welham Green.”

Men travelling in a grey BMW were later arrested by police on the M25 near South Mimms on suspicion of going equipped to steal.
