Brookmans Park pupils at Chancellor’s School collected impressive results this morning after completing GCSEs in the new format.

The proportion of A* to C grades rose once again and nearly a quarter of all results were graded at A or above.

This year was also the first year that pupils sat the reformed GCSEs in maths and English.

Outstanding results achieved by Year 11, included:

Lucy Prigmore who picked up two 9s, one 8, seven A*s.

Shakira Mogendram got one 9, seven A*s, and one 7.

Emily Smith achieved one 9, two 8s, four A*s, and three As.

Ryan McKeever got one 8, six A*s, and three As.

Zoe Tomlinson received one 9, two 8s, two A*s, and three As.

Rosy Vella earned two 8s, four A*s, and four As.

Joshua Hook achieved one 9, one 8, two A*s, and six As.

Samuel Mouskides who earned one 7, three As, three Bs, and two 5s.

Scarlett Rowe bagged herself one 8, two As, five Bs, and one 5.

Kyran Millard earned one A, one 6, five Bs, and two 5s.

Athena Kashis got two 7s, three As, one 6, three Bs, and two Cs.

Tilly Packman got one 8, six As, one 6, one B, and one 5 and Emma Latta achieved one A, one 6, three Bs, two 5s, and two Cs.

Headteacher David Croston said: “I am immensely proud of what our Year 11 students have achieved.

“They thoroughly deserve their success.

“They have risen to the challenge of their GCSEs, demonstrating hard work and resilience.

“Huge credit is also due to both the professional and dedicated staff of Chancellor’s School and to the parents of Year 11 students, who worked in partnership with the school to support their children at this crucial stage of their lives.”
