Donate blood in Welwyn Garden City, Knebworth and Hatfield

BLOOD donor sessions will take place next week in Welwyn Garden City, Knebworth and Hatfield.

The first is on Monday (April 16) at Christchurch Baptist church, in Parkway, WGC from 9.15am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.30pm.

The second is on Tuesday at the Village Hall, in Park Lane, Knebworth from from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and 5pm to 7.45pm.

And finally sessions will take place the following Tuesday (April 24) at Asda, in Town Centre, Hatfield, from 9.20am to 12.20pm and again from 2pm to 4.20pm.

NHS Blood and Transplant spokesman Derek Carr said: “Blood is needed by patients 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Without the regular commitment of blood donors many lives would be lost and we are very grateful to our loyal and commited donors who save lives every time they donate. If you’ve not donated before please consider doing so this Easter and make donating blood your new tradition.”
