Incident involving 20 girls in Welwyn Garden City

Police were called following concerns that a row had broken out amongst a large group of girls in Welwyn Garden City.

A spokesman for Herts Police told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Police were called at 7.48pm on Friday, February 23, to reports of a possible altercation between a group of girls on Guessens Road.

“Officers attended the scene and spoke to the group.

“Everything was in order and no crime was reported to the police.

“There were around 20 girls and the possible altercation that had been reported was not said to be physical.”
